We had a nice stay at this hotel over Labor Day weekend, but there were a couple of issues that need addressing. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the pools, especially the one with the slide, were a hit with the kids. However, our room had a strong musty smell, and cleanliness could be improved in some areas around the hotel.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! It's perfect for families and has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. The pools were a total hit, especially the waterslide. Staying at Sun Viking Lodge was an absolute delight! The vintage charm and family-friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The beach access was super convenient, and the kids absolutely loved the water slide and pool activities. While the rooms were small, they were clean and equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. The only downside was the outdoor pool being under repair, but with the beach right there, it didn't really matter!
